Vacuum Cementation
ADVANTAGES OF THE LOW-PRESSURE VACUUM CEMENTATION PROCESS OVER OTHER METHODS:
- The primary advantage lies in the high carbon concentration of acetylene gas and the short processing times achieved through the patented DualTherm® process.
- Surface oxidation, which is typically observed in gas cementation processes, does not occur at all. This property results in high fatigue strength.
- Depth of the homogeneous cementation layer.
Vacuum Oil Quenching
The oil-hardening process is performed entirely under computer control in an ALD DualTherm vacuum furnace, which prevents the formation of surface oxide or decarburization.
This furnace features nitrogen-atmosphereconvection heatingto ensure uniform heat distribution. It also incorporates the “Dynamic Quenching” system developed by ALD®” method, developed by ALD, cooling parameters can be fully controlled, enabling high mechanical strength values to be achieved with lower warpage.
Stress Relief
THIS PROCESS IS USED TO REDUCE THE INTERNAL STRESS IN A PART THAT HAS REMAINING STRESS AS A RESULT OF PROCESSES SUCH AS WELDING, FORMING, MACHINING, ETC.
It is also used to relieve internal stresses resulting from hardening processes. For this process, we offer furnaces of various sizes to meet your needs. Akademi Metalurji carefully performs all stress-relief processes in computer-controlled furnaces.
Normalization
THIS METHOD, INVOLVES HEATING THE MATERIALS TO THEIR AUSTENITIZATION TEMPERATURES TO COMPLETE THE NECESSARY STRUCTURAL TRANSFORMATIONS AND THEN COOLING THEM SLOWLY ENOUGH TO RESTORE THEIR STRUCTURE TO THAT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.
We offer this service in our ovens of various sizes, depending on your preference.
Gas Nitriding
Nitriding is a thermochemical surface treatment performed at low temperatures. The nitriding process not only increases the wear resistance of materials but also improves certain mechanical properties.
