Cold work tool steels are tool steels designed for processing, cutting, and shaping metal and non-metal materials. Depending on their intended use, they have dimensional stability, high resistance to pressure and wear, and sufficient toughness.

Cold work tool steels are used in cold forming operations such as cutting, punching, bending, cold pressing, rolling, and deep drawing. After appropriate heat treatment, nitriding, PVD coating, and EDM (electrical discharge machining) can be applied. Please request information regarding precautions after these processes.
